These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of services provided by CG Automotive, doing business as CG Auto Glass & Tint (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By scheduling, using, or paying for our services, or by accessing our website cgautoglassandtint.com, you agree to these Terms in full.
Services
CG Automotive provides professional automotive services including auto glass removal, installation, removal and installation (R&I), and replacement, as well as window tinting including dyed, carbon, and ceramic films, headlight and taillight tint, and tint removal. Additional services include ADAS recalibration, wiper blade replacement, power window motor or regulator replacement, rearview and sideview mirror replacement, leak diagnosis and reseal, and windshield chip repair. General services include cleaning up after the work and returning vehicles in proper working condition. During glass removals or R&Is, the process involves using specialized tools to detach bonded glass, which can place stress on the glass. There is a slight risk that the glass may crack, shatter, or break during these processes, even when all professional precautions are followed, and customers accept this risk when scheduling such services. Replacements of already broken or damaged glass carry no additional liability for damage from the process. Windshield chip repairs involve drilling or resin injection to properly seal cracks or chips, which also carries a small risk of glass damage. CG Automotive is not responsible for pre-existing damage, prior vehicle conditions, or unrelated mechanical or electrical issues.
Appointments, Deposits, and Cancellations
For scheduled jobs beyond same-day service, a 50% deposit is required to reserve your appointment. Deposits cannot be waived and a spot cannot be secured without a deposit. Cancellations must occur at least 24 hours before the appointment to receive a full refund of the deposit. Cancellations within 24 hours or no-shows result in forfeiture of the deposit. As a goodwill gesture, forfeited deposits may be applied once toward rescheduling. If the rescheduled appointment is missed, the deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable. We understand emergencies happen and will always work with customers when possible, but deposits are required to ensure scheduled appointments. Once a job is completed and approved, refunds are not provided. Any post-completion issues are handled under the applicable warranty.
Payments
We accept all common forms of payment including cash, credit and debit cards, checks, and online payments such as Cash App or Zelle. Payment may be required upfront for deposits or at completion of the service. Sensitive payment information is processed securely via third-party processors, and we do not store full payment card or banking details.
Warranties
Auto Glass work, including installation, removal and installation, replacement, and chip repairs, carries a 30-day workmanship warranty. This warranty covers installation mistakes such as leaks, misalignment, improper ADAS reconnections, or any functional issue caused by our work. This warranty does not cover glass damage that occurs during removals, R&Is, or windshield chip repairs, pre-existing vehicle issues, customer damage, misuse, vandalism, environmental damage, or parts (OEM or aftermarket). The warranty is valid only for the original customer and begins on the date of installation.
Window tint warranties vary by film type. Dyed films have no warranty for fading, discoloration, or performance over time and are only covered for installation defects such as bubbles, scratches, or creases present at the time of installation. Carbon and ceramic films carry a lifetime warranty for the original owner and cover workmanship errors including bubbling, peeling, scratches, delamination, and material defects including fading, discoloration, or adhesive failure. The Carbon and Ceramic warranty does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, vandalism, environmental hazards, alterations by others, or transferred ownership. Proof of original installation must be presented to claim any warranty. Warranties are intended to protect customers from installation or material mistakes and do not cover customer misuse, accidents, or external damage.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, CG Automotive shall not be liable for pre-existing vehicle damage or conditions, glass damage caused during removals, R&Is, or windshield chip repairs, or any damage to personal items left inside the vehicle. CG Automotive shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from services or for errors or omissions in services due to circumstances outside our control. Your use of our services and website is at your own risk, except as expressly covered by warranties.
Intellectual Property and Website Use
All content on the website, including text, images, logos, and design, is owned by CG Automotive and protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may view and download content for personal use only. Copying, reproducing, or distributing content without permission is prohibited. Any misuse of the website, interference with operations, or unauthorized access attempts is strictly prohibited. By using our website or submitting information via forms, you agree to provide accurate data and not to impersonate others or misuse the platform.
Third-Party Services
Our services and website may connect to or link with third-party platforms including Google Maps, payment processors, and social media sites such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube. CG Automotive is not responsible for third-party actions or privacy practices, and users are encouraged to review their respective terms.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a new effective date, and your continued use of our services or website constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
